Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Heartworm Positive

Reggie is a male mountain dog mix. 2-3 years old and about 50 pounds, though he needs to put on some weight. He is super calm and docile. He would make a great family dog as he walks well on the leash with no pulling. He loves to lay around and receive belly rubs. Vet said he is 'light heartworm positive' and has been given meds to start the slow kill method. He gets along great with my cat and two dogs (male and female). Please contact me if you would like to make this wonderful dog a part of your family!

Rescue Me ID: 14-05-18-00425Lulu (female)

Bernese Mountain Dog Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Lulu is a beauty! It's a shame that she was found living in a ditch where a volunteer had to crawl into the pipe to pull her out to safety. She was scared and didn't trust us, but why should she? She hadn't been treated well ever and she was just a baby. That day is part of her story, but the rest only gets better. Lulu is now about 1.5 years old and nearly 55 pounds. She's a beautiful mix of Boxer and shepherd. The fortunate thing about being rescued at such a young age is that she's perfectly healthy and only requires love and attention. She's been living in a foster home for her whole life and is potty trained, crate trained ... (Read More)(although she does not need her crate any longer) and social. She is very good with other dogs that are her size or larger, but tends to not appreciate the smaller ones or the cats in her life. She would certainly be happier to not have them in her new family when they find her. As for the humans in her life, she loves her foster mom and dad and gets along great with the older children that she visits with. Due to her size, energy and slight fear to loud and unpredictable noises, we think that her ideal home doesn't have tiny kids for her to accidentally knock over or to scare her. Lulu is an active girl who loves to run. She's never picked up on playing ball or fetch and doesn't generally play with toys either. She LOVES her Bully sticks and chews, so that is certainly the way to her heart. One of her favorite hobbies is chasing the birds and squirrels in her backyard. It's comical to watch and we hope she never catches one. She is more of an independent girl, but does enjoy a snuggle and occasionally will come seeking some affection. The cutest thing that Lulu does that just melts our hearts is when she just looks at you with her big brown eyes like she's trying to communicate something very important. There's no doubt she's saying-go get me another treat!. She also very much enjoys running and splashing in water puddles as if they were placed there just for her. She has a great time in areas where she feels comfortable, but is still quite timid if you stray beyond her typical stomping grounds. She needs an owner that will have the patience to continue working with her fears, but will also understand that she may always just be happier in her own space and not wish to be the dog park dog, event attendee or adventure seeker. She's more of a homebody and that can suit some folks very well. Lulu is a sweetheart, but still needs a little training. She is more than ready to meet her new people and let them help her to know that this world will treat her like a princess from here on out. If you are a patient, loving person that wants to help show this girl the good life, please contact us today. To adopt Lulu, please submit an adoption application online at under the adoption tab. Lulu's adoption fee is $150. If you have any questions, please contact us at Thank you! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 13-12-28-00396Tigger (female)

Bernese Mountain Dog Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Heartworm Positive

This ADORABLE girl was rescued from the streets after losing her litter of pups to a demolition crew- she was living/nursing under an abandoned house when the house was demolished. Imagine the heartache she endured watching helplessly from the sidelines. The experience made her lose a lot of fur which we treated, poor thing, and she is recovering from her depression. Her fur grew back nicely and she is being showered with love. She is vaccinated/spayed/fully vetted and microchipped. She is an extremely sweet and loving dog with an eternal puppy face. Tigger gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children. She is about 23 months ... (Read More)old, and on the small side at about 65 lbs. She tested very light heartworm positive and is on doxy slow kill treatment. She looks like a Bernese Mountain Dog mix...perhaps mixed with spaniel. She LOVES water. Please contact us for an adoption application for Tigger, as one must be approved for adoption before visiting with one of our adoptable pets. Thank you! (Less)
